Completely. Your menu, your takings and your customers sit in a file on your own computer. We have no copy and no way to get one. Every trading day is written out as CSV and JSON for your accountant, and the optional backup goes to your Google Drive, not ours.
You carry on selling. AlphaTill runs on the machine in front of you, so orders, printing and reports are unaffected. Even a licence problem only ever shows a notice — your till is never switched off remotely.
A Windows computer and an 80mm or 58mm thermal receipt printer. You can add a tablet on the same Wi-Fi to take orders around the shop.
Yes. An AI answers the shop phone, takes the order by voice and puts it straight onto the till. It needs a phone number through Twilio and an AI account, which we set up with you, so it is quoted separately from the till itself.
