The intention
Why a shop should own the order.
An order placed through a marketplace belongs to the marketplace. The customer’s name, their number, how often they order and what they like are all on the other side of a wall you pay to stand behind.
An order placed on your own site comes with those details attached, into the same address book the till already keeps. That is the point of building this.
What it will cost, and exactly how it will meet the till, are not settled. We would rather say so than put a number on a page and change it later.

Two things we are not going to claim.
That it saves you a specific amount. We have not set pricing, so anybody telling you what you would save is guessing. When there is a price you can do that sum yourself.
That it works offline. It cannot. Taking an order over the internet needs the internet at both ends. The POS keeps selling at the counter when your line drops; an online order placed during that time will arrive once you are back.
