This website sets no cookies at all. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session tracking, nothing stored on your device. That is why you have not been asked to accept anything — there is nothing to accept.
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is needed before storing or reading information on someone's device, except where it is strictly necessary to provide a service they asked for. We store nothing, so no consent is required and no banner is shown.
We would rather not have one. Most cookie banners exist because a site is tracking its visitors, and we are not.
Two things, both ordinary and neither involving cookies:
Our host records the page requested, the time and technical details such as the browser type, which is how any web server works and how we keep the site secure. These are not used to build a profile of you.
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests the font files from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives the request and your IP address as part of it. Google states that Fonts does not set cookies and is not used for profiling. If you would rather avoid it entirely, a content blocker will stop the request — the site will simply fall back to a standard system typeface.
AlphaTill itself runs on your own computer and is not a website. It stores its settings and your data in a database file on that machine, not in browser cookies, and nothing about how you use it is sent to us. Licence check-ins are covered in our privacy policy.
If we ever add something that stores information on your device, we will update this page and ask for your consent first, before it loads.
